With Hit Movies you can rent as many films as you can watch! There is no limit on how many films you can have in a month. You can have out 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12 films at a time, depending on which plan you have joined. You can change plans on a monthly basis if you so wish until you find the plan that is just perfect for your viewing preferences.

The Free Trial:

We are so sure you'll love renting DVD movies by mail the unique Hit Movies way, that we are willing to waive your first 15 days membership fee on Plan 1. Simply join online and you will be given two full weeks free to try the Hit Movies Program. We will require your credit/debit card details in order to validate them but you will not be charged for the Plan 1 trial period. If you like the service, simply do nothing -- your billings will start automatically. To cancel, simply inform us five days in advance and make sure you return the DVD's before the end of the trial period.

How it works:

After joining the Hit Movies Program, you sign in, browse our movie listings and click on the green 'Rent' button to start a list of the DVDs you want to view. The films you choose are then sent out to you by first class mail. All postage fees are included in the monthly plan fee. When you have finished watching a movie, just mail it back in the postage-paid patented FoldVelopes provided. Upon receipt, we then send out your next available movie choice.

You can rent as many movies as you desire in a month and keep each one as long as you want - there are no late fees! You can sign in and sort your list at any time, adding or removing titles whenever you choose. With our extensive catalog of over 100,000 DVD movies (double that of our closest competitor!) your every evening will be filled with excitement!

Payment methods:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We cannot accept checks, or money orders. We cannot process orders for credit cards with an international billing address or for credit cards issued by banks outside the United States.

Shipments:

Once you have registered with Hit Movies, your first selections will be sent out by the very next working day. We'll send titles based on availability and the order in which you have prioritized them. From then on you will receive your films individually through the normal first class mail (after you have returned your viewed movies). As you finish with your DVDs, send them back to us in the postage-paid envelope, and we'll send you the next available title on your DVD list.

All movies will be sent and returned by mail. They are sent directly to you by first-class mail (U.S. Postal Service) to the specified shipping address. An e-mail confirmation is be sent to our members when their movie has been mailed. We do not offer delivery through other shipping methods or carriers.

If you reside in an area where a special shipping method is required (such as Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO or North Carolina) or you request a special shipping method (such as Priority, UPS or Insured Mail) additional charges will apply for this upgraded service.

To cancel or place on vacation hold:

If you wish to cancel just let us know 5 working days before your next due billing day and be sure that all of your movies have been returned before the end of your billing month. For each DVD lost not returned, the actual retail sales price, minus 10%, as listed on the Excalibur Films web sites will be charged to your credit card. There are no refunds or credits for partial periods or unused rentals. There is no minimum period of months that you are obliged to be a member. To cancel, click here.

Viewing time:

Keep each movie for as long as you wish. There are never any late charges at Hit Movies!

Returning movies:

Your movies should be returned in the postage-prepaid return envelope provided. When we receive the return envelop at our processing center, we will remove the title from the list of movies that you have 'out'. We will then ship the next available film from your movie list.

Lost pre-paid FoldVelope mailers:

If you have lost one of the postage pre-paid mailers, please return the DVD with a slip of paper that includes your name, email address, shipping address and the DVD title. You can then place the DVD in a sturdy envelope and mail it to:

If you have also lost the white informational sleeve just place it between two pieces of paper so that it does not get scratched in transit.

Skipping or broken DVDs:

If you receive a broken DVD or one that skips, please report the problem and then send the defective DVD back to us in the pre-paid mailer. We will then send another DVD to you as soon as possible.

Changing plans:

You can change membership plan at any time and as often as you wish. Just contact us at 2008@MovieFilmFest.com 5 working days prior to your next membership renewal date to avoid any unnecessary charges and we will arrange it.

Changing movie lists:

Just sign in to access your list of movies online and add, delete or move films. You can have as many movies as you like on your list. Once you have created a list we will automatically send you the next available movie on your list each time you return a DVD to Hit Movies. We recommend that members keep a list of at least five times your plan number, so that we can send you a new title as soon as we receive your rental return. As an example, if you are on Plan #3, you should keep 15 movies in your list.

Billing procedures:

When you sign up for your plan, credit card information will be requested for automatic billing. If you're satisfied with the Hit Movies program, you will automatically be billed on your credit card for the plan fee that you have requested plus any applicable sales tax. If you're not completely satisfied, you can cancel the program at anytime and not be billed for the next month. The monthly billing cycle begins on the day your movies are originally sent to you. There are never any late fees and you can cancel anytime by notifying us 5 days in advance.

Terms and Conditions:

Members must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid credit card.

The Plan 1 Free Trial period lasts 15 calendar days.

Only Plan 1 has a free trial period.

On the first day after the free trial expires, your credit card will be billed once a month. The monthly billing cycle begins on the first day after your 15-day free trial expires. For example, if your free trial ends on the 20th of the month, your monthly billing date starts on the 21st.

Presently, only if you reside in California will you be charged sales tax, which will be added to your monthly membership fee.

Your 15-day membership fee includes all shipping and handling charges.

We will bill your credit card automatically at the beginning of each period.

You may cancel your membership at any time and your membership will be cancelled at the end of your current membership.

When cancelling, all DVDs 'out' must be returned by the end of the current billing month.

We do not give refunds for unused portions of a membership.

Order processing and postal shipping times may limit the number of movies you can rent during each month.

Hit Movies reserves the right to cancel an account if and when delivery reliability becomes a problem. Or, at the discretion of Hit Movies, delivery insurance will be added in order to guarantee all future shipments.

Presently the Hit Movies program is available only within the United States.

Security:

We use one of the most secure encrypted payment services available thereby keeping your credit card information totally secure. The security of your personal information is very important to us. In our efforts to protect your online transactions, we use a technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). With SSL your personal information will be automatically encrypted, or encoded, before it is sent over the Internet.

Your other personal details are held on a secure server and only accessible when your private password is input. Please keep this password confidential. No Customer Service Representative at Hit Movies will ever ask you for your password. The confidentiality of your personal password is yours to protect.

Hit Movies (Excalibur Entertainment) has also obtained a digital certificate from Verisign, the leading provider of Internet verification services. When you enter a secure portion of our site, an image of a closed lock or a solid key should appear in the bottom bar of your browser window. If you click on this image, a small pop-up window displaying our web site security information will appear. This certificate guarantees that your personal information is being transmitted in a secure fully authorized web server.
