Ugly Movie

Ugly Description: "What does the truth mean - to a raving madman? Where does criminal dementia end - and paranormal reality begin? How much sympathy is due a lifelong victim of brutality -especially a victim who acts out his torment in remorseless violence?

"Dr. Karen Schumaker (REBECCA HOBBS), is a world-class authority on criminal insanity, a controversial figure who has wins clemency for some famous killers, and these painful questions are only the first of the deadly challenges she'll face in the disturbing case of the young slasher-killer Simon Cartwright (PAOLO ROTONDO).

"A confessed serial killer, seemingly without a shred of remorse for the suffering inflicted upon his randomly chosen victims, Simon learns of Schumaker's exploits and petitions her for an evaluation. He is desperate to prove that he's been cured of his homicidal mania, and to win release. Dr. Marlowe (ROY WARD), the head of the oppressive asylum in which Simon has been imprisoned for five years, frowns upon Schumaker's activities, and question her motives in visiting Simon. Marlowe and his brutal orderlies consider Simon a monster, plain and simple, undeserving of humane treatment.

"In this distinctly hostile clinical environment, Schumaker is ushered into Simon's presence. At first glance, Simon appears to be perfectly sane, even a sensitive and gentle soul. He describes a life filled with horrendous abuse, often inflicted by his own mother (JENNIFER WARD-LEALAND). And the abuse seems to be continuing in the asylum, at the hands of a pair of thuggish guards.

"Yes, he committed the crimes, Simon tells Schumaker, but only because he was forced to be a demonic force from within, an occult entity of pure evil that he refers to as "The Ugly."

"The Ugly is gone now, Simon insists, and his authentic human nature has re-asserted itself. At first, Schumaker is inclined to believe this personable young man. Perhaps a subtle erotic tension has begun to arise between them. But then some sinister occurrences begin to suggest that the boundaries between reality and insanity themselves may be dissolving, into a spray of assorted bodily fluids.

"And once again The Ugly walks the earth. . ."
