Caesar The Conqueror Description: "By 52 BC, the Republic of Rome has conquered most of the nations that ring the Mediterranean Sea. Julius Caesar is waging a campaign of northern conquests to gain political prestige back home, part of his power-hungry bid to gain dominance in the Roman senate. He has set his sights on Britain, but before the invasion of the island can begin, Caesar must subdue rebellious Gaul (modern day France). Fighting for their freedom under the barbarian ruler, Vercingetorix, the wild Gallic tribes unite to form a vast army which threatens to annihilate the once invincible Roman legions.
