El Polaquito Description: "Based on a true story, a 13 year old street urchin named El Polaquito makes a living singing tangos at the Buenos Aires Central Station. He meets Pelu, a young prostitute who also works at the Central Station, and he falls immediately in love with her. He tries to rescue Pelu from the mafia that exploits both of them. El Polaquito confronts Rengo, the station mafia boss, who, in collusion with the police, begins to keep an eye on El Polaquito trying to convince him to avoid the relationship with Pelu. El Polaquito continues to undertake a dauntless fight against the mafia, without regard to the risk or consequences, trying to win Pelu's love."
