Starring: Though Nic Cramer's in the director's chair for producer Michael Raven, thishas all of Raven's trademarks, the eerie storyline, long grinding sex scenes, and some potent wet dreams that may or may not be mingling with reality. The cast is dominated by new faces, like Paige Sinclair, Nikita, Denise, April (it's hard to know who's who since the credits are vague), and Ava Vincent has our hostess through these fantasies come to life.

Top drawer all the way. Some neon-soaked scenes are hypnotic, others have a smoky norish quality that lures you in. The minimal story follows Ava's journey to discover why she keeps drifting into a sexual deep sleep. The only advice she gets is from Shaena Steel, who tells her to go for the ride, which she does for the remaining hour.

It's a hot one. The film's strength is that taps into female fantasies. Some of the men keep their faces hidden with hoods. It's not their fantasy being fulfilled. Those we do see are sexual animals.

In one of the best scenes, Lexington Steele peeps in on a horny wife masturbating for her bored hubby. When he doesn't respond, she calls in the peeper, who ties up the husband, then blasts the wife open with his enormous tool. It works so well because it's played from the wife's point of view. Shaena Steel, who is a smashing anal star, dominates her every scene, and Evan Stone scores as the specter daring Ava to explore her hidden desires.

This good movie could have been great had with a more filling plot to explain away some of gaps in logic. The ending, presented as a surprise, isn't that startling.

Still, it's a feverish sexual romp. An 8.
