I start this disc with mixed feelings. On the one hand, any time I get to watch Tera Patrick do her stuff, it's a good thing. On the other, I was really disappointed the last time Tera starred in an Adam and Eve movie, I was terribly disappointed. Everything was beautiful to look at, but the sexual heat was next to nothing. Hopefully, this time around, we'll get some action that is as hot as the star. At the very least, we should get a well shot couples movie with excellent picture and sound quality.

Tera is a married ad executive who takes a vacation with her husband. As they drive around the island, we get some great scenery shots. We also get our first look at that “Hot Spot” feature. When the Adam & Eve logo appears, you can hit Play and skip ahead to the climax of the scene. This is a nice feature if you're jerking off and are ready to finish before the scene does, but if you happen to want to skip the drive through the country you're out of luck because the scan feature is disabled by the Hot Spot. Even this far from home, Tera is having a hard time not focusing on her job. She and Evan meet another couple, Jessica Drake and Mickey G. They talk freely of sexual adventures, kicking off some wicked fantasies around the table. Jessica describes an encounter with a lover, (Brick Majors) under a waterfall. Break out the sax music and slow motion because this is pure pretty, couples smut. I happen to like water so the gentle pairing under the light waterfall is visually appealing to say the least. However, the mixture of slow motion sex and a very weak popshot sort of ruined it for me. This is a really nice looking scene to be sure, like something out of a Playboy video, however the sexual heat is lacking a bit.

Their sexual fantasies unlocked, Tera and Evan begin to explore the idea of having another woman join them. In walks tall, lovely blonde Caroline Cage. Sadly, she hooks up with Tear. Why sadly? Because this is a woman who said she really doesn't like other women. Lesbian scene are boring enough without any added handicap. Here, the action is held back by the slow, cook-jazz nature of the action and the fact that the prettier of the two women really doesn't want to be there. On the other hand, Tera naked is always a nice thing to watch. I just wish she had stayed true to herself and not done a scene just for the sake of doing veggie sex. Evan watches and he must find the sight of his wife with another woman more arousing than I do because it gets him hard enough to fuck Caroline. There is a great shot of the blonde licking his balls while Tera takes half of his big cock into her mouth. After some pretty decent fucking of both women, Evan shoots his load past their faces.

Mickey gets his shot at his woman next. Jessica blindfolds him, then has three Euro-babes come in to work him over. Talk about a pleasant surprise. Two of them stay with him, delivering a very pretty looking two girl blowjob before taking turns spreading their legs for him. Staying in their lingerie, these girls are certainly worth looking at, even in a couples sex scene. Mickey manages to work his dick into a very nice little ass before busting a nut all over that sweet young flesh. The third babe has gone into the shower with Jessica, so we get another long, water highlighted scene. This time, Jessica is sharing the shower with another woman. The action includes a little strap on sex, but is a pretty sleepy little pairing unless you're really into this sort of action.

By now, it's pretty clear that there really isn't much of a story. We're just following the couples through one scene after another with the sexual action all falling into the well shot and pretty, but sexually cool category. Maybe it's just that I hate slow motion sex much, but none of this feels at all real. Sure it's nice to look at, but who fucks in slow motion? And what sort of real emotion or lust is there when the only sound we get is the new age space sounds of couples porn sex music?

Tera and Evan find their way to a secluded beach and I'll stop long enough to watch this scene just because she looks so damn good. The sex on the beach angle works well here, as the small waves crash in around Tera while she lovingly licks and sucks Evan's cock and balls. They use the sand and rocks well, giving us an especially nice looking standing doggy. Without the slo-mo, this would have been a near perfect scene. Tera looks great, has some genuine energy and the surroundings are just perfect. (But which moves more during the sex, her real tits or his low hanging nuts?) After a good hard fuck on the sand, he rips off his condom and dribbles a slo-mo pop onto her cheek. This is hardly the best sex scene I've ever seen, but it is the best of this movie, and has a pretty fair amount of heat.

The last time Tera did an island movie, I was rather disappointed in the lack of sexual heat. Sadly, this movie is plagued by many of the same problems. Gorgeous women, amazing locations and good picture quality can only go so far to when trying to overcome slow motion sex, cool jazz background and a complete lack of passion. Tera is still one of the most amazing looking women in all of porn. Her scene on the beach is pretty damn fine even with the problems mentioned. The location and her genuine energy make it easily the best scene in the movie. Personally, I was both disappointed and bored by her lesbian scene. After all, she doesn't like girls sexually (Or so she said) and should probably stick to guys. There are plenty of women who do passionless veggie scenes Tera. Stick with what you like. Now, after all that, there are some people who will really like this movie. It's pretty, it's made for couples and people who love slow motion MTV, soft porn and those folks will love it.

Starring: Tera Patrick and Jessica Drake star as wives who travel with their husband on vacation and allow them to go wild with other women (all-natural Eurobabes) Vanda, Judy, Cheila, and Carolyn Cage, because it will improve their marriage. Tera and Jessica look incredible, but they're more convincing as themselves on the making-of video included on the dvd. If you're not a fan of either, this dvd will make you a fan of both.

This is the gold standard for porn dvd. Adam & Eve have packed a mind boggling assortment of stuff onto one disc. A high gloss feature film, a gonzo making of tape, 25 minutes of previews, still frames, web links, ubiquitous phone-sex ads, and bio information. There really has yet to be another adult dvd that can even comapre to what this one has. (including those compilation DVD's, which are mostly poor EP transfers)

Excellent. With the same cast and crew you can actually compare and contrast the two different types of small screen sex, features and gonzo. The includion of both these video on one dvd is pure genius and enhances the quality of both video. Great synergy.

DVD quality. This is the best looking adult video I've seen. It makes the Vivid DVD's look plain. Other DVD's don't seem to take full advantage of digital transfer the way this one does. For those of you, who can't stand the visual quality EP video, you will be knocked on your ass by the quality of this digital video. I really felt like the women were there in my living room.

The chapter stops aren't the greatest in the world. There aren't enough in my opinion, and they start mid-scene. Hopefully, this minor problem will be addressed in the future.

This disc augurs well for the future of adult dvd. If all DVD's were this incredible, I might swear off video tape forever. At present, most DVD's aren't even close. A perfect 10. A must-buy, to experience the full power of adult dvd.
